Welcome to Big Jackson Public Schools

Big Jackson Public School is a K-5 public school district located in northern Newaygo County. It is located about twelve miles west of Big Rapids, where it continues to serve a caring community from its beginning in 1894. Throughout this long history, many people have given their heart and strong support to the educational programs and students in our community. As one of the smallest school districts in the State, Big Jackson works to provide individual attention and support to each of our students.
